Emergency First Response Training

PHS foreign staff have all undertaken first aid training inline with the Emergency First Response core skills training. This involves Primary Care (CPR and the use of AED) and secondary care (injuries). PHS Thai staff will also undergo first aid training before the start of next semester.
.
More recently, PHS now has two members of staff who have continued with this and attended the EFR instructor course in December 2019. These teachers are qualified Emergency First Response Instructors: K. Rhudene Barnard and K. James Calder. This involved tests in medical emergencies, human anatomy and skills assessments on the 14 core skills in EFR.

PHS is ensuring the school is as safe as possible by continuing to focus on health and safety issues throughout the school for 2020.
