Mathematics Department

The Mathematics course philosophy at Panyararat High School (PHS) revolves around embracing technology and utilizing online resources to enhance students’ learning experiences. We believe in harnessing the power of digital tools such as ALEKS, Desmos, GeoGebra, Khan Academy, Seneca, Gimkit, and Edpuzzle to foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.

Our curriculum emphasizes the development of a sound knowledge base in algebra, geometry, number sense, data analysis, trigonometry, and calculus. We aim to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of these fundamental areas of mathematics, allowing them to apply their knowledge to real-world problem-solving.

Through the integration of technology and online resources, we strive to create an interactive and engaging learning environment. Students have access to dynamic simulations, interactive graphs, practice exercises, and educational videos to reinforce their understanding of mathematical principles.

Furthermore, our teachers employ a blended learning approach, combining traditional classroom instruction with online resources, to cater to diverse learning styles and provide individualized support. We encourage students to explore mathematical concepts independently, collaborate with peers, and seek assistance when needed.

Overall, our Mathematics course philosophy at PHS promotes the integration of technology and online resources to develop a strong foundation in mathematics, empowering students to become confident problem solvers in various mathematical domains.
