Leadership Camp 2022
After the success of the Leadership Camp over the last 2 years, PHS would like to continue with a 3rd consecutive year. PHS will hold another camp from 21st-23rd March. This will be similar to last year’s Leadership Camp – students will receive 3 certificates from the Camp. It is held in Kanchanaburi, at the Royal River Kwai Resort.
Activities
Day 1, students will take part in some team building and communication activities. The afternoon includes a cycling trip to develop team communication skills. There is free-time to enjoy the pool or gardens in the resort. The evening includes a meal at the resort and buying their food for the next two days camping with a supermarket dash. These activities also enhance their teamwork and communication skills.
On day 2 we move to the campsite, the students head off for elementary level SUP training, on a lake for safety. Following this they have first aid and river safety training. They then put up their tents and cook their food for the evening.
Day 3 is a test of their skills. This includes a 7km hike with map reading, orientation and first aid skills tests. The students then move to the river for their SUP journey, they take turns to lead their group on the 12 km river journey.
