Thailand Debate Open
From February 21 to 23, 2025, the TALK Foundation proudly hosted the Thailand Debate Open 2025 at Panyarat High School in Bangkok. Following a hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic, participants from across Asia and Australia were enthusiastic to return to the vibrant city to compete..
The tournament attracted nearly 150 participants, who competed in the Junior, Senior, and ; Open divisions. Teams from; Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam debated six mixed preliminary rounds, teams advanced to a knockout stage, striving for the coveted best speaker and breaking trophies.

This year, the competition was elevated by the presence of world-class judges from; Australia, Bangladesh, India, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam who not only identified the top debaters but also shared their expertise with the next generation of talent.

A highlight of the event was the formal break night, held on the top floor of the Pullman Hotel G. The evening concluded with a breathtaking view of fireworks over the Chao Phraya River, offering participants a memorable experience in the heart of Bangkok.
