M5 Community Support Field Trip 2019/20

Each year M5 students are tasked with a community support project. This year PHS 5 had the task of raising funds for the Bangkok school for the Blind.

They had to complete 3 tasks:

1. Raise money to take a group of blind students on camp with them.

2. Host the Panyarat FundFair to raise money for the camp.

3. Organise activities for the camp.

PHS 5 took to this with zeal! The market visits were a great success, as were the lunchtime sales. Bubble tea proved to be a favourite. Their total this year was an amazing 310,000 Baht.

Due to availability, the camp was with the students from Pattaya School for the Blind. The PHS students met them at Sattahip. The camp was a great success, with beach games and activities, an art sho where the PHS students presented their ‘art for the blind’, games and activities made by PHS M5 students and finally horse riding and ice creams!
