Mycology Club : Inoculating Mycelium Spawn into Vivariums

The students started with their vivariums and we created vivarium tanks, this was a very hands-on learning experience and the students learned a lot of transferable skills. We inoculated our plant vivariums with mushroom spores by drilling and plugging holes in logs that we had in our vivarium tanks. The mushrooms should be starting to come in a couple of months.

The students enjoyed learning about fungi and we will start making our own mushroom grow bags next year.
